How to grow a Telegram channel and what its numbers mean

4 min read

Telegram channels grow differently from Instagram or TikTok accounts. There is no main recommendation feed like For You, so new subscribers arrive mostly through links and search, and from other channels. This guide covers how to bring readers in and how subscribers, post views, reactions and boosts fit together, including the ones you can order.

Where new subscribers come from

New subscribers usually reach a channel through a link someone shared, through Telegram search or from another channel. You can prepare each of these in advance.

  • Choose a short username that is easy to say and type. Public channels appear in Telegram's global search, so put the main topic in the channel name, in Hebrew and in English if your readers search in both.
  • Create a separate invite link for each place where you share the channel, such as your Instagram bio or a WhatsApp group. Telegram shows how many people joined through each link, so you can see which sources work.
  • Make the topic clear from the name and the description. When someone joins a channel, Telegram can suggest similar channels to them, and a clear topic helps yours appear next to related ones.
  • Agree on mutual mentions with channels of a similar size in your field. Telegram also lets you share a whole folder of channels with one link, which suits a group of channels on a shared topic.

What keeps people reading

People stay in a channel when posts arrive at a predictable pace and each post is worth opening. Subscribers get a notification for every post unless they mute the channel, so too many posts push people to mute it or leave.

Pick a topic narrow enough to describe in one line, and post on a schedule your readers can learn. Send minor updates as silent posts, which arrive without a sound. Pin a short welcome post that says what the channel offers and how often you publish. If you want discussion, link a group to the channel so readers can comment under posts. When the channel statistics become available to you, check which hours and which posts get the most views, and adjust the schedule.

Write in the language of your readers. Many Israeli channels publish in Hebrew, and Israel also has a large Russian-speaking audience that reads channels in Russian, so choose one main language for each channel.

Subscribers, views, reactions and boosts

These four numbers are what a visitor checks first, and each of them says something different.

The subscriber count under the channel name shows its size. The view counter on each post shows how many people actually opened it, and a channel with 5,000 subscribers and 80 views per post looks inactive. Reactions under posts show that readers respond, and channel admins decide in the settings which reactions are allowed. Boosts come from Telegram Premium users and raise the channel's level. Higher levels add features such as stories for the channel and extra design options.

How ordered services fit

Ordered subscribers, views and reactions help a new channel look active while you build a real readership. They work best together and in proportion.

  • Start with Telegram subscribers as a base for a new public channel. Services need a public link, such as t.me/name.
  • Keep post views in line with the subscriber count. Some view services cover a set number of future posts automatically, and the service name says how many.
  • Add reactions to important posts. Before you order, check that reactions are enabled in the channel and that the reaction you order is on the allowed list.
  • Boosts are in the Telegram section of the price list. Each boost service states how long the boosts stay, for example 7 or 30 days.

Most orders start within minutes, and every service shows its speed and refill period before you pay. We never ask for access to the channel.

Limits to keep in mind

Ordered numbers do not read your posts, and Telegram can remove accounts it flags, so plan for both.

  • Ordered subscribers do not click links or buy. Sales and replies come from real readers.
  • Numbers can drop after an order is complete. Services with a refill period let you request a free refill from the order list during that period.
  • Keep the channel public and the username unchanged until the order is complete.
  • Large jumps look odd. Grow the channel step by step and keep views and reactions in proportion to subscribers.

A practical order of work: set up the name, the description and a pinned post, publish on a schedule for a few weeks, add a base of subscribers and views, and then put your effort into sharing the channel where your readers already are.

Questions and answers

Does the channel have to be public?

For most services, yes. Paste a public link such as t.me/name. If your channel is private, write to support before you order.

Can I order views for future posts?

Yes. The Telegram section of the price list has services that cover a set number of future posts, and the number is in the service name. Other services add views to one post through its link.

Why did the reactions not arrive?

Check the channel settings. Reactions must be enabled, and the reaction you ordered must be on the allowed list. If both are fine, open a ticket with the order number.

What are channel boosts?

Boosts come from Telegram Premium users and raise the channel's level. Higher levels add extra features, for example stories for the channel. Each boost service states how long the boosts stay.

Will ordered subscribers read my posts?

No. They raise the subscriber count, and reading and buying come from real subscribers. Use ordered numbers as a starting base and keep publishing posts worth reading.
