How to grow an Instagram business account in Israel
4 min read
For many local businesses in Israel, Instagram is a second shop window. People check the profile before they call or come in and decide within seconds whether the business looks active. This guide covers the work that grows an account over months and where ordered followers and likes fit.
Set up the profile for local search
Start with the fields that new visitors read first and that Instagram search matches. Instagram has explained that search compares queries with names, usernames, bios, captions, hashtags and places, so use the words your customers type.
- Switch to a professional account to get Insights and contact buttons.
- Put what you do and the city in the name field, for example "Dana Studio | Nails in Haifa". Unlike the username, this field can hold spaces and Hebrew.
- Write the bio for someone who has never heard of you: what you offer and where. Put the booking or ordering method in the link.
- Add the address and opening hours. A WhatsApp button helps as well, since many Israeli customers prefer to write there.
Write captions in Hebrew first
Write the main caption in the language most of your customers read, which for most local businesses means Hebrew. If a real share of your clients speaks Russian, English or Arabic, add a short line in their language.
Keep the first line specific, because the feed shows only the beginning of a caption before "more". "New autumn menu, available from Sunday" tells the reader more than a general greeting.
Hebrew text mixed with English words or phone numbers can display in the wrong order. Check the preview on a phone, and if the order breaks, put the number or the English name on its own line.
Use location tags and local hashtags
Tag the location on every post and Reel, because location pages and local hashtags help people nearby find businesses they do not follow yet. Use the neighborhood or the city.
Specific hashtags work better than broad ones. So many posts use a tag like #תלאביב that a new post from a small account is quickly pushed down. Combine one or two city tags in Hebrew and English with tags for your field and area, and open each tag first to check that its recent posts are local. Instagram has said that hashtags have a small effect on reach, so a few precise tags are enough.
Post Reels and Stories at a pace you can keep
Reels can appear in the Reels tab and in Explore for people who do not follow you, so they are the usual way to reach new local viewers. Stories mostly reach existing followers.
Choose a pace you can keep for months, for example two or three posts a week. A steady quarter usually does more than a burst of daily posts that stops after two weeks. Short, concrete formats suit local businesses:
- the work itself, such as a haircut from start to finish
- answers to questions customers send in messages
- prices and opening hours before holidays
- customer reviews, shared with their permission
Check Insights to see when your followers are active. The Israeli week runs from Sunday to Thursday, so posting advice written for the United States or Europe often names the wrong days.
Where ordered followers and likes fit
Ordered followers and likes improve the first impression of a new or quiet account once the profile and content are in place. A visitor who sees 40 followers and two likes per post may assume the business is new or closed, and a starting base removes that doubt while you build a real audience. It usually makes sense for:
- a new account, or one renamed after a rebrand
- the weeks before a paid campaign, so visitors from ads see an active profile
- a launch post or Reel that should look established from the first hours
- a seasonal business reopening after a quiet period
On Likeli you order Instagram followers with a link to a public profile and Instagram likes with a link to a specific post. We never ask for a password. Most orders start within minutes, and every service shows its start time and refill period before you pay.
Know the limits before you order
Ordered followers do not buy from you, and Instagram may remove some of them over time. Keep both facts in mind when you decide how much to order.
- They do not interact with future posts, and a follower count far ahead of likes can look unbalanced.
- Instagram removes accounts and activity it considers inauthentic, so numbers can drop after an order is complete. Services with a refill period cover that, as our article on drop and refill explains.
- Order amounts in proportion to the account and spread them over time. A jump from 200 to 20,000 followers in one day looks strange to people who know you.
- Keep the profile public and the username unchanged until the order is complete.
Customers come from your content and from recommendations. A practical order of work: set up the profile, publish for a few weeks, and if the account still looks empty to new visitors, add a starting base of followers and likes.
Questions and answers
Do ordered followers increase my reach on Instagram?
Nobody outside Instagram can say exactly how ranking treats a particular account. Ordered followers do not interact with your posts, so do not expect them to raise reach. They help the first impression of the profile, and reach comes from content that people respond to.
Do you need my Instagram password?
No. Followers need a link to a public profile, and likes need a link to a specific post. Keep the profile public until the order is complete.
How many followers should a new business account start with?
There is no fixed number. Look at similar local accounts in your field, start with a smaller amount than they have and spread it over time. A sudden large jump on a small account looks unnatural.
What happens if some of the followers disappear?
Instagram removes accounts over time, so some drop is normal. If the service you ordered has a refill period, you can request a free refill from your order list during that period.
Should captions be in Hebrew or English?
Write in the language most of your customers read. For most local businesses that is Hebrew. If a real part of your audience reads English or Russian, add a short line in that language too.
